Oxya Origin: Road to Genesis gameplay is designed to be intuitive, smooth and satisfying. Anyone can jump in and have a fun time playing but hardcore gamers will find it even more fun mastering the controls and physics to dominate the opposition.
Players will start out in a semi-open world where they can explore the environment, go on hunts and quests to discover the ancient history of Oxya Origin or launch PVP or PVE game modes. Throughout the years, we will have the opportunity to open more areas of the map where players will be able to find new and exciting game modes to play.
The initial Open World will act as a link between the different game modes but will gradually evolve to become a key component of the ecosystem by offering more interactions, possibilities and features throughout the years.
Limited areas of the map will be available to visit at first, with hard and soft closed sections. The initial size will be 1 KM squared on the Kryo Black Mountains' Anemoria Valley, one of the deadliest remote locations in the Oxya Origin universe.
In order to keep the universe exciting for current players and appealing for new players throughout the years, multiple game modes will be implemented to the open world overtime.
That would allow us to ensure that each game mode lives up to our high standards and is perfected with the help of the community. Each game mode will feature multiple sub-game modes such as solo, co-op, rampage etc..
Inspired by cult classics such as Call of Duty Nazi Zombies, Doom: Eternal and Wolfenstein, the first game mode will be a Roguelite dungeon survival game in which players will have to destroy waves of enemies and complete objectives to earn tokens. Learn more.
The defining genre of our era is making it to the Oxya Origin universe. Development will start following the initial BETA stage. More information will be revealed in due time.
More game modes will be revealed in the future.
Road to Genesis is developed on Unreal Engine 5 using cutting-edge Lumen Nanite technology to create fully dynamic lighting in real-time, much similar to graphics generated by advanced computers for high-quality animation and film production as well as automatically and massively scale in-game art assets.
With Naniteโs virtualised micropolygon geometry, we have full freedom to create as much geometric details as the eye can see. In addition to making the game much more beautiful on multiple levels, this new technology will allow us to reach new graphic heights while also making the game lighter to run and therefore more accessible to potential players.
The game's physics system is designed to make players feel truly immersed in the world, allowing them to interact with objects and the environment in a way that feels natural and realistic.
Oxya Origin's physics system is also incredibly fun. The game's physics make for some clippable moments, as enemies are sent flying across the screen when hit with a powerful explosion adding an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to every encounter.
Combat is an essential part of the gameplay experience and it's also the one we focused on the most. The game features a wide range of weapons, each with its own unique feel and physics properties. From the kickback of a shotgun to the steady aim of a sniper rifle, every weapon feels realistic and satisfying to use.
Our goal is to bring life to the Oxya Origin universe through meaningful interactions between the player and their environment. New technology at our disposal also gave us the ability to make characters interact more realistically with complex settings.
Animations are better integrated to the game engine which has also helped make them stand out and be more realistic. We are working on AI-powered NPCs that would bring freshness and reality to our universe in contrast with the stale social interactions currently available in open world games.
