# Economy

**Oxya Origin: Road to Genesis (RtG)** introduces an economy that strikes a balance between accessibility for free-to-play (F2P) players and meaningful engagement for paid participants. At its core are two key resources: **Oxya** (off-chain) and **$OXYZ** (on-chain).

* **Oxya** functions as a traditional premium currency within RtG, enabling players to unlock in-game features and enhancements.
* **$OXYZ**, an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, is a limited, tradeable version of a premium currency—it can be bought, sold, and exchanged.

As the cornerstone of the Oxya Origin ecosystem, **$OXYZ** connects all games in the IP, driving interoperability and sustaining player involvement across titles. Think of it as the "bitcoin" of the Oxya Origin universe: a scarce, versatile resource bridging gameplay and economic dynamics.
